ABOUT NFOC 2018

Join us for the 11th Annual NFOC 2018 Conference at The Benjamin Franklin Institute Science Museum and Center of Science Education, in historic Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

In addition to fiber, telecom, broadband and wireless applications, this year's Conference will showcase FTTx products and that industry's key manufacturers and service providers.

Rear Admiral (Retired) Garry R. White is President of The Light Connection (TLC), the industry leading fiber optic cable manufacturer. As President, he leads an impressive team of experts to develop, manufacture, test, and distribute a wide array of advanced fiber optic cable.

Admiral White was commissioned a Naval Officer and subsequently designated a Naval Aviator; qualified flying the A-4 Skyhawk, A7E Corsair, and F/A-18 Hornet. After atteding the Navy Fighter Weapons School "TOPGUN"; he was designated an Adversary Instructor.

While flying operationally Admiral White deployed on USS AMERICA, USS RANGER, USS KITTY HAWK, USS NIMITZ and USS CARL VINSON. In October, 1995 he was assigned to the Pentagon in Washington, DC under the Chief of Naval Operations, Commander in Chief Liasion Division, OPNAV N-83. In November 1998 he was assigned as Executive Office of USS GEORGE WASHINGTON, later taking Command of it in 2004.

Prior to joining TLC, Admiral White served as President of Excelsior Enterprises, and has served on a number of Boards including Vice Chariman of Busek Incorporated, an advanced Space Propulsion and Systems company. Previously, as Global General Manager of Terex Utlilities, and corporate Vice President, Admiral White gained expertise leading Strategy, Personnel Management, Product Development, Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing, Sales, and Profit/Loss management of an international utility construction equipment business.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

James Fasano; Instructor, FIS University - FTTx Training

Mr. Fasano has over 30 years of combined experience in both the Telephony and Cable Communications industry. He is a past recipient of Telephony's Rain Blain award for his efforts in FITL (Fiber In The Loop), which helped bring fiber closer to the home. He has held managerial positions at Bell Atlantic, assignments at AT&T, held an executive position at ARRIS Corporation developing optical fiber solutions, and recently with Hitachi Communications Technology managing sales of key products.

Mr. Fasano has a BA/BS degree From Bloomfield College in Business Administration and has completed Post graduate work at Rutgers University. His product specialties include Fiber In The Loop, OSP Network Design & Construction, Optical Connector and Management Technologies, Optical Fiber Splicing and Testing, FTTx Design and Installation.
